Topic: Training Policies, Training Procedures and Training Standards

What sorts of Training Policies are other organisations putting into place? What works? What's right for your organisation? How can you keep the words to a minimum and the impact to a maximum?

I have always found putting relevant training policies and procedures into place the most difficult aspect of managing a Training Department (this has a lot to do with my preference for dealing with the urgen rather than the important) - but they always paid off in the end. Once the intitial policy and procedures were put into place, they evolved over time. I have included a number of related downloads and links to case-studies and approaches here.

Enjoy. Mike Collins.
